The competition is open only for undergraduate student from universities across Mauritius.

You can register for the competition by visiting our official website and filling out the registration form available under the "Register Now" section.

4. Is there a registration fee?
No, there is no registration fee. Participation in the competition is completely free.

5. Will there be any prizes for the winners?
Yes, there will be exciting prizes for the top-performing teams, including cash awards, certificates, and opportunities for networking.

6. Can we participate as a team?
Yes, participants can form teams of three to four members. Collaboration is encouraged to bring diverse skills and perspectives to the projects.

7. What type of application is expected at the
end
of the competition
Your application can be developed on any platform using any tech you want but is should be either a web applciation or a mobile application.

8. Where should you submit your work
Teams should push their repositories on github with a proper README file with screenshots of project. Repositories should be made public

9. Should participants host their websites
Yes. pariticipants should host their website on NETLIFY and provide us with the links. For mobile application, a final apk shall be included in the repositories

10. How selection process will take place
After receiving all the proposal, only top 10 teams with most promising solution/ideas will be selected and their team leader will be mailed.

: The Open Source Avengers, a team of four passionate computer science students, are dedicated to innovation and collaboration through impactful open-source projects. Competing in a university-level hackathon, they aim to push technological boundaries and make meaningful contributions to the tech community.
AgroInnovators
: Development of a mobile app using AI for image recognition to detect pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in crops, providing farmers with real-time alerts, recommendations, and historical data analytics to enhance crop management and yield. The project employs technologies like CNNs, learning, and cloud services, , sustainable solutions with a focus for farmers.

: We are building a system that addresses the critical challenges in blood donation management, enhancing the matching of donors with recipients and predicting future blood supply needs to reduce delays and shortages effectively.
Clueless Coders
: "Clueless Coders" is a team that humorously reflects the group's status as first-year students new to coding. But we are stronger than ever and determined to win !!!
